Dialect's Bio

Born Sirrico Whitfield, aka Dialect after growing up in a musical family, music was destined to be a special part of Dialect’s life.  At a very early age Dialect began both singing and rapping along with his brothers and sister.  Those years singing along with his family as his father played the guitar or piano helped give him an appreciation and understanding of music.  It wasn’t until 1995 that Dialect realized that music was not only entertaining but could also be used as a vehicle to carry the message of Christ.  He began to write music that focused on the most important thing in his life, his faith.

The next three years of his life would consist of  Dialect and his brother Maddlines coming together with the New Jersey born and raised MC The Messenger 777 to form the group Raiderz of the Lost.  Prepare for the Spillage was their debut album released in 1998.  This album would slowly begin to define the Raiderz edgy but creative sound as well as their passion for the Lord.  Change was on the horizon as the ministry was forced to take a break.  Dialect faced two courageous battles with cancer and the Messenger 777 and the Raiderz moving in different directions parted ways.  Soon after the Raiderz were on the move again. In the years that passed they released a few underground projects and continued performing but it wasn’t until the group teamed up with Pastor Moses David that they would release another complete album.  After coming under the 12strings vision, the Raiderz released their sophomore project in 2007 “The Music Makers”.  Since then Dialect and Maddlines continue to write, record and perform as the Raiderz of the Lost.  Throughout the many obstacles his vision to spread the uncompromised gospel to a hurting world has never changed.

Today, Dialect hopes to continue to be used as a speaker, artist and leader with hopes of changing the world.

“I believe that being called to do what we are doing as His mouth piece is such a humbling and amazingly important responsibility that we could not fulfill in excellence without His direction and powerWe are drawn by His love and led by His spirit, we are focused on kingdom building and motivated by our burden for the lost, we are soldiers willing to raise His banner proudly, we are the Raiderz of the Lost…where music is just the beginning...”
